The Micro-Air EasyStart Flex soft starter supports 2 to 6 ton air conditioning units. This next-gen of EasyStart replaces older versions including the X48 (ASY-368-X72-BLUE) and X72 (ASY-368-X48-BLUE).

Amazing results, easy to wire up and great support team
Peak amps were too high for my solar inverter w/battery bank to safely handle. After installing the soft starter, the starting amps went from ~60 to ~30. Now I am able to run my AC off of my solar setup. During summer months, it will pay itself off in a matter of a few months.

The EasyStart Flex reduced the inrush amps of our AC from nearly 70 to 32. This will reduce the stress and lengthen run time while using whole home battery backup. I was familiar with this product and previously purchased from Hutch Mountain and bought from them again for our new home.
The first unit (EasyStart Blue) made a huge difference for our previous home with AC on the roof. It reduced the shaking and percussive start up that shook us with each cycle.
