MB Sturgis 3/8 in. Male Quick Disconnect

The part is just what I needed, but figuring it out required uncertainty and calling Hutch Mountain due to an ambiguous description. This is a 3/8 NPT female to 3/8 male Sturgis for natural gas. It comes with blue rubber male and female lanyarded plugs for both ends. There is no thread sealant on the female threads (which is proper, it belongs on male threads only).

For reference, the original description: "We utilize 3/8 quick connects for most applications. All RV's use 1/4" quick connects. You can replace your RV's quick connect or we do offer a 1/4" male to 3/8" female adapter."

Easy connect and disconnect, no leaks

A big shout out to customer service who patiently listened to me read off the parts that I had and then had the perfect solution so that I can be able to connect my converted Honda Eu2200i generator to either my trailer gas supply or a separate propane tank. This was a big deal because I already had a connector to the separate tank and BC Ferries allows only 2 propane tanks per transit. Now that I can use the trailer gas supply, I can leave the spare tank at home! Thank you!
