Grade B open box soft starters have minor cosmetic defects (see images for examples), such as plastic scratches near mounting holes or other blemishes that have no affect on functionality. These Micro-Air EasyTouch Soft Starters have been thoroughly tested and may have minimal signs of wear. We offer a 2-year limited warranty on these refurbished soft starters.

Grade B As Good As New

Ordered the Grade B 364 w/BT. Shipping was prompt and arrived on time. Unfortunately, I received a non-BT 364 by mistake. Frustrating, but, mistakes happen. I’m certainly not immune to making them. Called customer service and was offered return/replacement or a refund for the difference. I honestly didn’t think I’d benefit from the BT functionality so I chose the refund. The unit I received looks brand new. No scuffs. No blemishes. No obvious, undesirable conditions. Unit came with the installation kit but I didn’t need any of the parts for my install. My GE A/C is wired such that it seems they understand people might install a soft start. No cuts necessary for me. Installation was simple. Only part that took any effort was finding a suitable location to mount the unit inside the A/C. I performed the 5 training starts as specified and had no issues running from 20A shore power (I don’t have a dedicated 30A household circuit for an RV). Further testing on a single Honda EU2200i (not coupled to the Companion) works flawlessly. No struggling to throttle up from Eco Mode or irregular sounds from the A/C when starting. Great upgrade and I highly recommend it!

(side note: My Honda EU2200i and my Companion generators are both modified with Hutch Mountain propane conversion kits. I highly recommend those as well!)

Open box Breeze worked like a “breeze”. Excellent customer service. I called to make sure of compatibility, and I left a message. Hutch Mountain returned my call the same day. Thanks guys. Looking for my conversion kit in the mail right now!

Just like new!

Ordered 3 of these and all were in great condition. One had some of the double sided tape left on the back was the only way I could tell they were open box. Working great!

Soft Start

Quick delivery. Although product is an open box (return), it appears brand new. I have not installed it yet but the Hutch Mountain installation video looks pretty straight forward. I opted not to buy the blue tooth version-I can see it might be good when installing but after that I don’t see myself ever using it.

Easy Start

While I haven't had time to install it yet it looks brand new and I am confident it will work. I have 2 micro air thermostats also that have been great.
